The Return: I'm Back (Don't Say I Didn't Warn You)

So, I’m giving this whole weblog thing another proper go.

If you’ve been here before, you need to know: my life has completely changed.

We’re talking a massive shift over the last few years—a new life, new home, new country, new job, and a fantastic new wife.

That’s just for starters.

Hello, Scotland!

I previously deleted the whole lot of this blog and stepped away from the depressive virtual life, which worked a treat. But now the dust is settling, and my wife, Ebony, and I (yes, I remarried!) have settled in Scotland, so I need a bigger canvas.

We swapped Norwich for East Ayrshire back in July 2024, and it’s been utterly brilliant. Our new life here has awakened me to adventures I never thought possible - think hill-walking, waterfall hunting, and sleeping under the stars, all with a camera in hand.

After a few turbulent years - losing my mother, a new relationship, and a serious illness - the music chapter is closed for now. I’ve embraced a rewarding career as an embalmer, but this blog is about the living part of life.

So, here we go. This blog is my way of documenting our new world. The serious bits are said and done. Now, it's all about adventures and creating new memories.
